Brick in Architecture Award Winners 2011
Kenan Hall/Flagler College-St. Augustine, FL
StormPave Permeable Clay Pavers in Accent Gray and Autumn colors.
The plaza was hardscaped with Pine Hall Brick StormPave ® permeable pavers in Autumn and Accent Gray. The pavers effectively picked up the colors of the nearby building, in line with local historic-district guidelines, while at the same time, provided an effective way to drain away stormwater.

Walnut St. Park Imaginary Garden Walk - Cary, NC
This public work of art installation, located within an 11-acre infill neighborhood park, is specifically inteded to protect and exhibit the environment. Click here for more info.
Justison Landing - Wilmington, DE
The project was a comprehensively designed 33-acre brownfield urban redevelopment. The landscape architects worked with developers, project engineers, a riverfront development corporation and the state's DOT to plan, design and implement an urban redevelopment plan. Click here for more info.

Cliff's Cottage at Furman University in Greenville, SC opened to the public in June, 2008. The model homesite, which will become the university's Center for Sustainability in 2009, incorporates and promotes the very best in green building practices using the latest technological innovations in sustainable living. StormPave™ permeable clay pavers were used all around the site.

Beck Cultural Exchange Center
The Beck Cultural Center in Knoxville, TN is dedicated to the research, collection, conservation and exhibition of achievements of African Americans in eastern Tennessee. The pattern for the centerpiece was inspired by a trial art plaque basket crafted by the Makonde of Tanzania, Africa. Four colors of English Edge® Pavers were used in the project.
This downtown renovation in Durham, NC is one of the largest restoration projects in the US. Retail shops, residences, restaurants and offices occupy the former tobacco warehouses adjacent to the Durham Bulls Baseball Complex. A manmade waterfall flows through the center of the project and the pedestrian areas are paved with Rumbled® pavers.
